“What does victory mean to you as a child of God?”
Illustration: A simple story is a football team that wins not because they are the strongest, but because they play with strategy and confidence — just like believers win by the Word and Spirit, not by human effort.
Some people say, “Life isn’t a bed of roses. It’s full of ups and downs. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.” As nice as these sayings may sound, they aren’t based on the Word of God. They contradict the realities of the new creation in Christ.
Pastor Chris teaches that as a child of God, you’re born into the life of endless victory. The Bible says, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world…” (1 John 5:4).

● Victory means living above circumstances, walking in dominion, and manifesting Christ’s triumph daily.
Recall from Previous: Review last lesson on Faith and Victory is the Christian’s lifestyle. God expects you to experience victory every day. As far as He is concerned, there’s no challenge big enough and no demon powerful enough to stop you from walking in victory. He has brought you into the
victorious life; the only thing you need to do is walk in the light of that victory.
Live with the consciousness that you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. You are a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). In other words, you have God’s nature of success
and victory; you’re indomitable in this life. Have this consciousness. Let it become your meditation today that you’re an overcomer and a victor in Christ Jesus.
When God looks at you, He doesn’t see someone in need of deliverance or help. He sees someone who is more than a conqueror. He sees a victor in Christ Jesus.
You’ve been called into the victorious life, so walk in the light of your victory over the world, the devil, and the circumstances of life.
